VOIP has made the headlines many times and for many reasons over the past five years. The latest is a full phone service that is based on voip technology. As offices move over to newer technologies it is essential to chose a provider that allows you to keep up with the times.

Great companies I work with

  • Tailored software to suit your pocket

  • The unseen power behind your network

  • Fast, reliable WiFi across SA

  • Connect and you can.

  • A balanced view on energy.

  • A household name in Hosting

  • PBX this way.

Listed below are links to weblogs that reference synchronising your Nokia and your Mac.:

Yeah unfortunately MobileMe is a good R800 a month (at the moment - I expect the exchange rate to throw that number upwards rather soon). It's a great service, but probably much more geared to the Steve-fanboys among us :)

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the heads up on the Nokia plugin. If I for some reason have need to revise my Missing Synch affinity I'll have plan B! ;)

Need to look at MobileMe - does it cost anything?

I was faced with the same issue of syncing my key devices: MacbookPro, iPod Touch, and Nokia E65.

My approach was to use MobileMe to hold all the data in the cloud. Whenever my Touch comes near Wifi it'll grab (Apple claims this is 'push' - yeah, right) any changes (iCal, AddressBook, Mail).

On the Nokia E65 side I had more of a challenge. Missing Sync is a wonderful tool - but I'm of the feeling that my cellphone manufacturer has a small duty in at least allowing some free sync functionality. With that in mind, I found that indeed Nokia had a plugin for Apple's own iSync application. [http://europe.nokia.com/A4299040]

Besides the fact that the phone must be in Bluetooth range of my Mac, I'm happy. It'll surfice 'til I get an iPhone ;)
